The title is at the top of this feild and an image of a pitcher in his motion with a black and red target-like design in the background is below. At the bottom left of this field are the month and price. At the very bottom are titles and authors of four featured articles and the note that 500,000 baseball fans read the magazine. Contents include a review of the sport for the month; what records mean to players; the threat of football to baseball; a variety of pieces on current and past players and teams; a quiz for readers to test their knowledge of the sport; and other articles relating mainly to players. There are many photograph illustrations and advertisements in the 47-page artifact, which has spine and corner abrasions; cover creases, soiling, tears, and stains, and mustiness and browning of pages and is in fair condition.Lexicon
