Baseball Glove--A fielder's glove to be worn on the left hand (for a right-handed thrower). Made of light brown leather with metal eyelets along the bottom for lacing and a metal button on the back side of the wrist to secure an adjustment strap. There is an additional layer of dark brown leather on the front of the glove to protect the palm. The glove was fabricated in 1993 at the request of the Homestead Museum by the Brucker Glove Co. using an illustration from the Edw. K. Tryon Company catalog.
