Description

Color: Black; White A real photo postcard of actress Bebe Daniels, 1928. The image shows Daniels in a head-and-shoulders view with the actress wearing a furwrap over a dress and a beaded headdress that shows the beads hanging over her face to the eye level. The actress's name is at the bottom center and there is a German term "Ross - Verlag," possibly indicating the publisher, as well as a identification number "3501/1" and the Paramount Pictures logo at the bottom of the image. The used postcard has a message, evidently in German, and an address to a person in Romania. Two postage stamps from Germany, a stamp from Stuttgart and a stamp from the city in Romania, where the item was delivered, are also notable. The card is dated October 18, 1928. With corner abrasions, a crease at the top right of the front, blue-colored stains at the front bottom right, and a slight warping, the overall condition is good.
