Color: White
A Belgian bobbin lace doily, ca. 1920s. The white colored piece is round with a broadly scalloped edge and features four large and four small circular patterns, with the former having an eight-petaled flower within and the latter having a bird-like figure inside. At the center are two bulb-like flowers and a six-petaled flower between them. There is cut work on the border on the edge. With the circular patterns, however, there are solid tapes with occasional cut work elements within the designs. Brides are used throughout. In good condition, the piece shows no significant wear or damage.
