Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of the bell wall at Mission San Juan Capistrano, ca. 1920s. At the center are four arches within which hang the bells from the largest to the smallest from left to right. The top of the arched wall has a hipped roof and moss at the right and left. At the far left is another wall with a curved top. The whole structure looks to be in poor condition. Lining the bottom of the wall are many bushes and plants. At the left of the back is the number, "39." The photograph was housed in Agnes Temple's album which is item 96.7.94.1 along with many other photographs which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1. Contact sheets 2000.159.1.1-.8 show the original positioning of the images within the album. With water damage, heavy stains, and a mounting corner adhered to the top right corner, the artifact is in poor condition.
