Description
Bernheimer Oriental Gardens entrance, Pacific Palisades, ca. 1925. A view from the street of the gate house and entrance to the Japanese gardens built by Adolph Bernheimer. The two story gate house with a tunnel through the middle allowed passage to the interior of the garden. Through the gate, a Japanese structure can be seen on top of a hill with steps leading up to it. The card includes a dops postage stamp box. The item is in good condition with minor surface soiling.
