The periodical has many articles concerning household management and gardening, including such areas as southern gardens; garden plants and flowers; homes of prominent American women; color schemes for outside living rooms; tips on child training; buffet dinners; the use of eggs at Easter; food articles on soups and rolls; radiators; pianos; budgeting; and children's amusements. These and other articles are amply illustrated and there are many advertisements related to home economics and gardening. There are cover creases; dents; surface soiling; pest damage on the bottom right corner of the front; stains on the back; some small tears; and some mustiness, tears, and stains on pages, so the artifact is in fair condition overall.Lexicon
