"Better Homes & Gardens," June 1928. The 110-page artifact has a front cover with the title at the top, a color image of yellow roses in a glass vase on a table with a red bead necklace and a statuette of a woman on it, and the month and year, price, and motto "More than 1,000,000 circulation" at the bottom. The periodical contains many articles concerning household management and gardening, including such areas as rose growing; homes of prominent American women; weddings; diet; auto travel; Will Rogers and his garden; music lessons; summer meals; picnics; oven canning; summer fashion; porch decoration; working with irises; and California gardens in June. These and other articles are amply illustrated and there are many advertisements related to home economics and gardening. There are cover creases; dents; surface soiling; pest damage on the bottom right corner of the front; stains on the back; some small tears; and some mustiness, tears, and stains on pages, so the artifact is in fair condition overall.Lexicon
