Description

Color: Black; Blue; Green; Orange; White "Play Bridge Abroad" set of 14 tallies, 1928. The tallies are contained in a folder with a front cover image of a steamship sailing from a port and the words "PLAY BRIDGE ABROAD" in Art deco lettering at the top. On the inside front cover are directions, rules, and the company name and location. The tallies resemble passenger tickets and have a ship name, location of a European country, instruction to play a deal with another "ship" or game participant, and a ticket number. On the inside back cover is a chart of values, and a list of bonuses and penalties. The manufacturer's name and location, as well as copyright date are also located here. On the back is the scorecard with space for the totals for eight games, the final total, and the player's name. All are in good condition, with some corner dents and light discoloration.
