Color: Black; Blue; Green; Orange; Red; White
A color postcard of the Big Curio Store in Tijuana, Mexico, ca. 1920s. The one-story gray brick structure is across the center at the corner of two streets. Many light fixtures line the top of the building. A small clock tower, which is topped by a red and white flag bearing the store's name, is at the top of the building's corner. Above the clock is the word, "COMMERCIAL." Many arches line the facade of the building at the bottom and through these are many windows with blinds. The entrance to the store is under the arch at the corner. Above the door is an orange and black sign that reads, "BIG CURIO STORE / EST. 1887." The curb on the sidewalk's corner at the front of the building is red and many cars are parked at the far left and right. Many people walk on the sidewalk at the front of the building, to the right at the front of another structure, and at the far left on a crosswalk. An automobile and a lightpost are at the right of the foreground. Two signs are on the lightpost but their wording is not discernible. On the top right corner in black is, "X-33 - 'THE BIG CURIO STORE,' TIJUANA, MEXICO." Down the center of the back is the name of the publisher. At the top right corner is a square box for postage. All of the printing on the back is in blue. With only light abrasions at the corners, the artifact is in good condition.Lexicon
