A retouched photograph, "Birds Eye View of the Mount Lowe Railway," ca. 1910. The retouching gives the image an engraving appearance and the view is of the rail line and a car at the center and upper left, mountain areas, including pine trees and rock formations, and, in the distance, the western San Gabriel Valley and the area from Los Angeles to the Palos Verdes Peninsula. The item is glued to a black photo album page, but with little wear or damage, the condition is good.
