A box that contained a bottle of Black Flag insect powder, 1928. Two of the panels have red backgrounds with the product name and logo, title, list of insects killed by the product, and the price of fifteen cents. The other two panels have the logo, the list of insects killed, note that the product is not poisonous to humans and higher animals when used according to instructions, net weight of the product, copyright date of 1928, and company name and location. The bottom has the logo and the top has the same with the addition of the phrase "SMALL SIZE" above the logo. Inside is a cardboard liner and a red tag 1 7/8"H x 1"L that repeats the information found on the two first-mentioned panels on the outside of the box. Items .1 and .3 of this accession constitute the bottle and product, and the instructions, respectively. With abrasions, dents, heavy soiling, pin holes, many stains, tears, and much overall wear, the condition is poor.Lexicon
