Description

Color: Black A black wool vest, ca. 1920s. The piece also has a black silk back and white cotton inner lining with vertical lines of varying thicknesses. With no collar or lapel, the front of the piece has pairs of pockets on each side and three black buttons with four holes, one of which is vertically positioned, probably for a pocket watch or fob. At the lower back is the clasp with strips of black silk, one of which has the black metal buckle. On two sections of the buckle is the word "SOLIDE." With a few stains on the inside lining over the right seam, the piece is otherwise in good condition.
