Description

Envelope: A blank envelope from the Workman Homestead, ca. 1925. Labeled by Thomas W. Temple II with the name of Santa Clara University and the years 1922 through 1924. Crossed out is the misspelled word Caltek for the California Institute of Technology and the years 1922-23. It is probable that school papers were kept in this envelope (perhaps items such as 96.34.51, a Cal Tech receipt.) The envelope is in poor condition with much creasing, discoloration, and wear. From the Thomas W. Temple II Collection. Donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. Front face center in black ink is, "(Santa Clara-/1922-1923-1924)"; crossed out below this is, "Caltek 1922-23."
