Description
A fragment of a sheet of blotter paper folded into the ledger or account book kept by Henry Dalton for his Los Angeles and Rancho de Azusa stores, 30 September 1845 to 31 December 1856. The paper is a thin cotton and is quite fragile. The expected ink marks are present throughout the item, which has tears, creases, folded portions, foxing, and acid burns and is in poor condition.
