Description

Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of the east window of the Walter P. Temple Memorial Mausoleum, ca. 1925. This a reproduction blow-up of the window, so the image is extremely blurry, but the window appeared to be a triptych divided by classical columns. At the center, possibly framed by two saints, is an image of a woman, probably the Virgin Mary, in an oval frame with two white flowers at the lower corners. A small portion of the cast concrete walls surrounding the window space are seen at the edges. The artifact was made to try and determine the appearance of the original window for a recreated window by John Wallis Studios in the museum restoration project. There is some minor surface soiling on the reverse, but the object is otherwise in good condition. Number-Units: 1
