Book, Compositions and Arrangements for the Guitar, Manuel Y. Ferrer, ca. 1910. The tan cover shows the book's title, the author's name, and publisher information in black text in a black border. A handwritten inscription which reads, "Laura D. Gonzalez / Los Angeles City. / Mar. 8th 1898" has been written on the title page. The book contains sheet music for a number of compositions that have been organized into four parts; the first three parts are separated into "easy," "medium difficulty," and "difficult," while the last part is reserved for compositions that involve vocals. Two pages, including the title page, for Method for the Guitar by M. Carcassi (b) have been stored between the front cover and first page of the book. A separate set of sheet music for Marcheta by Victor Schertzinger (c-d) has been stored between pages 44 and 45. A page with tips on how to read music (e) has been stored between pages 184 and 185.
