Description

Color: Black; Brown; Green; Pink; White "The Book of 100 Homes: Book B," issued by the Webber Lumber & Supply Company, 1929. The 112-page catalog has a white and pink cardstock cover with the title at the top of the front in green and black. At the center is a color illustration of a one-story home. At the bottom is the name and location of the manufacturer. At the bottom left is the name and location of the F. S. Cheney Lumber Company. The latter are in black ink. On the back are six black and white photographs of various homes. At the beginning of the inside are introductions and articles on sun rooms, flooring, millwork, housework conveniences, and roofs. Many styles of homes are listed with names like Cudworth, Adair, Salem, Ferndale, and more. Each listing includes a black and white exterior illustration, a floor plan, and a description. At the end are three garage plans; garden structures, which were available through the manufacturer; an article on home prices; and an index. With light abrasions; small creases and dents; light soiling; small stains on the cover; and a musty smell, the object is in good condition overall.
