Book "Who's Who In America: A Biographical Dictionary of Notable Living Men and Women of the United States, Vol. 12 1922-1923" edited by Albert Nelson Marquis (Chicago: A.N. Marquis & Company) 3,520 pages. On the fly page there is writing that states "Thos. W. Temple/Alhambra. Calif/Oct. 11, 1922. The book belonged to Thomas during the time he and his family lived in a Craftsman Home in Alhambra. Construction started on La Casa Nueva of that year. With dye transfer and staining from the red cover to the pages due to moisture damage, mold, abrasions, warping, it is in poor condition. The book was given a treatment to remove the mold spores, including UV exposure. It was segregated from the collection, bagged and stored in the West Building. The building has an HVAC system.
