Description

A pre-Prohibition bottle ticket from G. Piuma, Los Angeles, ca. 1910s. The item has the product name of "Rye Whiskey" and net contents, as well as the company name and city. There is also an image of a farm with bundled rye in an enclosed field. Giovanni Piuma once rented the Temple adobe house at Rancho La Merced for his winery, before moving it, by 1910, to the location north of downtown Los Angeles described on this item. Other than light soiling, there is little wear or damage and the condition is good.
