Description

Color: Brown; White; Green; Red A border tile in the Bougainvillea series, produced by RTK Studios, ca. 1990s. The piece, made by the black-line technique has borders at the top and bottom of brown with a thinner lighter brown line inside the other. Interwoven in the middle over a background of a light background are the vines, leaves and six bougainvillea flowers in brown, green, and red colors, respectively. There are variations, however, so that some of the leaves and flowers are darker than others. Also, the brown color at the edges are lighter in some areas, due to the experimenting with glazing. With little indication of damage or wear, the artifact is in good condition.
