BREAKFAST ROOM DOOR TO DINING ROOM, LA CASA NUEVA
Color: Brown
A color polaroid photograph of the door from the Breakfast Room to the Dining Room of La Casa Nueva, ca. 1977. Shown in its entirety from the Breakfast Room side, there are two leather panels: the top having metal decorative pieces mounted on it and arranged in an oval with pieces at the center and corners of the panel. The bottom panel has pieces arranged in the form of an "x." While the upper panel has some creasing and cracking, the lower panel has signficant losses at the lower left and right of the panel. Most of the dark brown painted wooden sections of the door surround the panel with an area at the lower right badly scratched. To the right are two light blue windows, evidently from the Breakfast Room windows. An unidentified object is at the lower left. At the bottom of the artifact is a pencil inscription reading "D145 / BREAKFAST RM. SIDE." In good condition, the artifact has little indication of wear or damage.
