A broadside issued by Redondo Oil Corporation, ca. 1920. The item includes a large map of the area between Playa del Rey on the north and the Palos Verdes Peninsula and Los Angeles Harbor to the south and the Pacific Ocean and city of Redondo Beach on the west and South-Central Los Angeles on the east. Geological anticlines, strikes, and faults are noted, as well as existing oil wells, major roads, community and city locations, railroad lines, and lease locations by the company. At the top is the phrase "REDONDO OIL" and the slogan "Come on, Redondo" and at the bottom is a map legend, address for the oil company, name and address for licensed brokers, Burke and Company, and other information. With original folds, a missing piece in the right margin not affecting the map, and small edge tears along folds, the condition is good.Lexicon
