Description
Broadway looking north from near First Street, Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The view shows a streetcar heading south very close to the photographer as well as pedestrians and what seem to be a few horse-drawn conveyances. At the center right is much of the Los Angeles Times Building with its Gothic Revival and Romanesque architectural elements and its distinctive clock tower. Other commercial buildings on the east side of the street are in view as is part of the federal building in the distance. Finally, the Broadway streetcar tunnel is further beyond. The condition appears to be good.
