The front cover has the title at the top, under which is a stylized panel with the issue and subscription prices at the top and the date and list of featured articles at the bottom. Centered within the panel is a color image of a Cape Cod-style house. Articles concern architecture, painting, apartments, linoleum flooring, office design and construction, stores and shops, home plans in color, subdivision and town planning, and good roads, in addition to regular features. There are many photographs and architectural plans as illustrations and many industry-related advertisements. With edge and spine rubbing on the cover; cover and some page corner creases, light cover soiling, page yellowing, some fading of the blue on the cover, a center fold down the item, a pencil mark near the top right of the front, light scratches to the front cover, and what may be a beverage stain in a ring at the top right of the front, the general condition is good.
