"Bulletin of the Old Mission Parish", 12 September 1971. A publication of the Claretian Fathers of the Mission San Gabriel, the letterhead features an image of the mission with the title in large black ink letters. Below is a notation that is is a weekly publication and the address and phone are provided. An article by Thomas W. Temple II, as part of his "Mission Memoirs" series, recapping the events of the mission's bicentennial held the week before, is the lead article. Other features include a column called "The Commentator"; a continuation of an article on "Theology of Marriage"; coming parish events; a book review; a list of marriage banns; an "In Memoriam" section; and mass schedule. There are some advertisements at the bottom of the last page. Written in blue ink at the top right is the number "10." With a crease from a paper clip at the top left and another along the left edge, as well as discoloration, the item is in fair condition.
