Description

BUSINESS LETTER FROM BURKE AND JAMES INC. TO MR. CHARLES JESANO Color: Green; Red; White A business letter from Burke and James Inc. to Mr. Charles Jesano, December 15, 1924. At the top center in green is the cable address of the company, company name, and address. Flanking this is the word, "REXO," and the company logo. The typed text at the center responds to an order placed by Jesano for a #1 REXO Junior Camera R. R. lens and informs him that the item is out of stock and will not be in for another 30 days. The # 1A REXO with F 7-5 lens is offered in its place at the special price of $14.95, instead of the wholesale price of $16.50, with the company shipping the camera special delivery. Signed "Very trully yours," on the bottom is the signature of "R. M. Garry." Written in pencil below the whole sale price of the camera offered is the special price by the company, with the difference of $1.65 written just above the signature. A green border of holly is around the outside of the letter and on the bottom center in red is, "Season's Greetings." Found within the catalog, which is .1, the object has creases throughout; folds down and across the middle; tears along the folds; and finger stains on the back, making it in fair condition.
