BUTLERS PANTRY DOOR TO DINING ROOM, LA CASA NUEVA, BOTTOM DETAIL
Color: Brown
A color polaroid photograph of the door from the Butlers Pantry to the Dining Room of La Casa Nueva, ca. 1977. The lower panel of the door is shown from the Dining Room side, showing the partially damaged leather panel, which has creases, abrasions and scratches, mostly at the edge. There are metal decorations nailed to it in a pattern of a large ring. The door frame is dark brown, the leather is black and there are various shades of lightness and darkness on the metal pieces. At the right side is part of the long handle, while one of the hinges is at the lower left. At the bottom of the artifact is a pencil inscription reading "D144 / Bottom Section/ Butler's Pantry Dr. / Dining Room Side." In good condition, the artifact has little indication of wear or damage.
