The item is a series of cartoons and editorials to assist in developing a "home products campaign" for civic groups, commercial organizations and newspapers and feature the artwork of De Witt A. Patterson. A separate essay "To the Newspaper" identifies ways to utilize the campaign followed by examples of newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times, that have done so.
