”California Blue Book or State Roster, 1924” (Sacramento: State Printing Office,) 1924. The work is a general directory of California state government and includes such items as the state constitution; lists of departments and officials, a list of notaries public, lists of county property valuations and officers, incorporated cities and towns, the legislative department, biographical sketches, statistics for elections and census, state property valuation, and the state’s political history, among much more. There are also many illustrations and several maps. Pasted onto the inside rear board is a 1927 handbook of information for legislators that includes a fold-out map of Assembly and Senate districts as of 1911. As ex-library and with worn, rubbed, stained and soiled boards, but generally clean pages, the condition is fair.Lexicon
