The title is at the top of the front in a thin, stylized border with open books on stands flanking it. Below is a photograph of the 1926-27 varsity baseball team. At the bottom is the date, volume, and number of the issue, also denoted as the student information number. The eight-page document contains photographs and articles on sports, the Varsity Club, the new catalogue for the 1927-28 school year, registration information, the glee clubs, dramatics, the ministerial club, the band, the literary club, and an article on "What College Really Means." On page four is publication information, including the names of the President of the Board of Trustees, Charles C. Chapman, for whom the school was later renamed, as well as the college president, newsletter editor, contributing editors, and printer. In good condition, the artifact has spine creases, dented corners, a horizontal half-fold, and very light staining at the front bottom.Lexicon
