"California Christian Collegian," June 1927 (Vol. III, No. 2,) issued by California Christian College, Los Angeles (now Chapman University in Orange, California.) The title is at the top of the front in a thin, stylized border with open books on stands flanking it. Below is a photograph of Maria L. Harris, to whom the 1927 college annual is dedicated. At the bottom is the date, volume, and number of the issue. The eight-page document contains photographs and biographical sketches of the senior class of 1927, information for students, alumni, commencement week, college banquets, a column by the college president, and a religious article. Publication information on page four also lists the president of the Board of Trustees, Charles C. Chapman, for whom the school was later renamed, as well as the college president, newsletter editor, contributing editors, and printer. With abrasions along a horizontal half-fold, dented corners, some paper discoloration, a light stain at the top of the back, and small tears on the cover, the artifact is in fair condition.Lexicon
