Description

Color: Black; White A photograph by E. C. Engelhardt of surf crashing into rocks at an unknown California coastal location, 1920s. The view is focused upon the waves hitting small outcroppings of rock and there is a wide expanse of ocean in the background and shallow foamy areas in the foreground, but no indication whatsoever of location. At the bottom right is the printed caption "Photo by E. C. Engelhardt." With corner rubbing and dents, slight soiling on the edges and reverse, minor warping, and light handling stains, the overall condition is good. Number-Units: 1
