Description
"California Congress of Parents and Teachers, 1900-1928," with additions through 1936. The documents consists of condensed reports from eight administrations of the association, now the California PTA and contains photos of an "Epochs of Progress" committee that put together the item, biographies of association presidents, lists of state conventions, a timeline of association-related landmarks, and a page dedicated to the founders of the group, including Phoebe Apperson Hearst. The material from 1932 to 1936 is repeated at the end. With stains and wear to the leather wrappers and liquid damage, stains and soiling to pages, the condition is fair.
