A bound volume of the California Department of Agriculture's "Special Publications," consisting of items from 1919 through 1925. Although the spine identifies the range as publications 1 through 59, there are several missing items (2-3, 9, 11, 16, 18, 21 and 26.) The publications cover many areas of agriculture in the state, consisting of such types as production statistics, diectories of farmers in certain fields of agriculture, research findings, and "how to" circulars. There are illustrations in most, including photos, charts, tables, and others. With spine fading, edge rubbing, and soiling to the boards, but most pages clean (publication 50 is a larger format than the rest and has more wear) clean and tight, the overall condition is good.Lexicon
