A glass syrup bottle without a top or stopper, ca. 1920s. The narrow width artifact has a half-inch opening at the top and a ribbed band just below the mouth. Lines run down the sides and the bottom has an irregular circle on the outside and a bow-shaped curvature inside. Imprinted on one side is "CALIFORNIA FIG SYRUP CO. / CALIFIC / STERLING PRODUCTS (INC.) / SUCCESSOR." On the bottom is an imprinted square with the letter "O" within it and the number 33 to one side. At the bottom are very small black dots, possibly content residue, but there is no clear sign of such material. There are many small bubbles within the glass, but no indication of cracks or fractures, so the artifact is in good condition.
