The plate, which was repainted at a unknown date, has a blue background on which a yellow border and the plate number (1-020-656), state name, and year are painted on raised letters. There are six round holes and two partially round and partially rectangular holes around the edges for securing to the frame of a car. With some paint flaked away, abrasions, dents, and bends in the metal, the overall condition is good.
