Description

Color: Black; Brown; White A pamphlet for motor coach tours of California by the California Parlor Car Tours company, 1929. The cover has a reference at the top to three-day tours of the state, a photograph of Mission Santa Barbara, and the company name at the bottom along with a note that tours between Los Angeles and San Francisco were along the "Coast Mission Highway." The back cover is identical except that the photo is of redwood trees. When opened fully, the item has a map, information about highlighted sites on the map, photographs of some of the sites, and travel information, including fares and departure times. At the bottom are addresses for the company in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Much of the design is in Art Deco style. With edge and corner rubbing, creases, browning, minor fading of color, and some small clear liquid stains on the bottom of the back, the condition is otherwise good.
