The 731-page bound volume contains the reported California Supreme Court cases which occurred during the April, July, and October months in1873. The volume provides a rooster of the Chief Justice, Associate Justices, Court Officers, and the District Judges as well as an alphabetized listing of the names of individuals involved in the reported court cases. An index can be found toward the last pages of the book. The leather covers were in fair condition with severe damage that ranged from abrasion, acid burns, corrosion, dents, fading of the print on the spine, flaking, loose spine, losses and tears to the covers. However, the pages are in good condition with some moderate browning, light flaking, and tears to pages 713-716.Lexicon
