The four-page item gives a brief history of legislative and direct voter initiative attempts to pass and enforce Sunday laws in the state, as well as provides arguments why it would be unconstitutional and unfair to do so. The item was produced to combat a new legislative effort, but the estimated date comes from refernce to a November 1918 vote in Los Angeles.
