"California Wine-Making," Edwards Roberts from "Harper's Weekly Supplement," 9 March 1889. The article concerns a trip taken by the author from San Diego to the Sonoma and Napa areas, incluing a visit to vineyards and wineries in the San Gabriel Valley, specifically those of Leonard J. Rose and Elias J. "Lucky" Baldwin. There are several woodcut and photographic illustrations, as well. With some soiling, a horizontal half-fold, and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
