CANCELLED CHECKS, THOMAS W. TEMPLE II, 1929-1930 Color: Black; White A set of five cancelled checks of Thomas W. Temple II with The First National Bank of Puente, 1929-1930. They are dated 30 November 1929 to 31 January 1930 and are made out to three priests, Frank Romero, and Edgar Temple. Each check has an engraved image of the bank at the upper left. They have the usual lines for date, check number, payee, numerical and written out dollar amounts, and signature of the payer. A preprinted number "12" is at the bottom center. The manufacturer of the checks, Bankers Supply Co., is at the bottom left. Each check has ink stamps of different kinds and pierced stamps to denote they were paid and on which date. All have folds, creases, browning, and two have ink stains, but the overall condition is good.
