Car ascending track, Mount Lowe Incline Railway, August 1929. The snapshot is taken from a portion of the steep incline track looking up at the car rising up the mountain. There are some steps at right leading to a platform, power poles at the right, and some of the landscape adajcent to the track. On the reverse is an ink inscription: "Incline R. R. / Mt. Lowe, / Los Angeles, / California / Aug. 1929." Aside from light soiling and edge wear, the condition is good.
