A card with a poem, 16 June 1916. A floral drawing decorates the top of the card, beneath which the lighthearted typewritten poem espouses "the simple philosophy of life," proclaiming how positive actions and thoughts can improve our circumstances. "Copy / Frank E. Montgomery / June 16, 1916" is handwritten on the back side. With major discoloration, moderate embrittlement, minor to moderate tears, moderate staining/soiling, minor edge wear, and possible silverfish damage, the object is in poor condition overall.
