Description
Carte de Visite, young woman studio portrait, Westervelt, ca. 1884. Three quarter view of Annie Betts Burton from the shoulders up, who emigrated from Sheffield, England at the age of three. Photo was taken around the time she was married. Burton wears hair piled high on her head with tight curls at the front. High collared top with three rows of buttons at front. In good condition despite the moderate fading.
