Carthay Circle Theatre, Los Angeles, 1929. The view is taken from across the street from the large, ornate theatre with a good view of its tower and a temporary awning leading to the entrance and having the name of "Lilac Time" the current feature shown at the theater. Portions of nearby buildings, and a staged crashed airplane in front of the theater, also part of the the promotion of "Lilac Time", is notable. Aside from some soiling and minor edge and corner wear, the condition is good.
