Description
CARTOON FOR THE REPLICATION OF A LA CASA NUEVA DOOR PANEL
Color: Brown
A color polaroid photograph of a cartoon for the replication of a wood door panel in La Casa Nueva, ca. 1979. The cartoon consists of two pieces of paper attached together and shows the penciled-in design consisting of floral or vine elements surrounding a shield with axes extending from the top left and right of it. To the left is a straight-edge and behind the drawing on the top of a work table is a mug, roll of tape, and other items. A glimpse in the background of white tile indicates that the table is against the east wall of the La Casa Nueva kitchen. This design was for the recreation of a panel at the exterior of the door from the Living Room to the east garden of the house. With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
