Description

Color: Brown A color polaroid photograph of carved wood panels for an unspecified area in La Casa Nueva, ca. 1979. The three panels are all of the same design and presumably represent different stages in the creation process. All are completely carved, but the top appears to be partially completed, lacking certain details. The middle panel seems to be the least finished and is partially carved with other details drawn out in pencil. At the bottom is what looks to be the most completely done of the panels with all details included. A wood backing supports the three panels and the upper one is tilted up with an additional backing. A rough wood table includes the panels but also other supplies and materials. With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
