Color: Black; Blue; Brown; Green; White
A hand-pressed medallion tile for Casa Del Herrero's fountain, manufactured by Diana Watson's Native Tile & Ceramics, 2001. The tile, which is made in the raised-line technique and is symmetrical, has a blue flower at the center. Around the flower is a cross outlined in green and brown. Four small blue flowers are at the center of the tile's edges. At the corners are parts of green leaves. All of the latter designs are against a white background. All of the colors are glazed. Stamped in the clay at the center of the back is "NATIVE / TILE & CERAMICS." The tile, which is not in the original colors, was a reproduction test for the restoration of a fountain at the Casa Del Herrero historic site. The manufacturer's catalog number for the artifact is 426. The object is in mint condition.
