"Cass' Cash Bulletin, No. 14," a wholesale electrical supply and appliance catalog issued by Philip Cass & Company, 1 September 1925. The fourteenth number of the second volume, the catalog has a stylized border on the front cover with classical motifs such as urns, floral designs, shells and other figures. Within, at the top, is the title in black and red letters, with the volume, location, date, and number underneath within two sets of two horizontal lines. Below this is a male cartoon figure with mouth wide open and the words "BROADCASTING / the / NEW / CASSCO / RADIO!" next to the figure. At the bottom is the company logo and the motto "It Means / More Money / To You." On the inside front cover is the weekly special, consisting of key sockets and bakelite switch plates. The first page has sales policies and terms, as well as the company location and phone numbers. There is also a note to distributors about the importance of their work. After this are product offerings, including wire; cutouts; push buttons; doorbells; tools and supplies; cable; switches; sockets and fuses; outlet boxes; the Cassco radio; waffle irons; toasters; clothes irons; hair irons; vibrators; and lighting fixtures. Engravings and photographs of many items accompany listings, which also give item numbers, quantities and prices, and, in some cases, product descriptions. On the back cover is a statement about advertising products to consumers and there are penciled annotations at several places on the cover. Other than slight discoloration and one corner creased at the back, the artifact is in good condition.Lexicon
